Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Initially there’s damp earth in the late summer. Wet cut grass, macadamia, Weetabix sprinkled with sugar, tangerine. Slightly musty. Palate Ripe/baked summer fruits baked. The oak sits on top of some crispbread, toffee and melting chocolate. Finish Nutmeg and cinnamon, digestive biscuit and light smoke. Comment Best neat.

Arthur Motley Nose Freshly cut apples, white pepper, orange sorbet, blackberry jam, and cold roast lamb. Palate Berry fruits, dark chocolate sauce and then a dryish harissa spice. Finish Some spicy woodsmoke. Comment Unusual, and composed of many distinct elements that mesh well.
