- Nose
- Bread dough, yeast with some maturity. Good balance with water which brings out spicy oakiness and a deep slightly nutty centre with raisin and dried flowers, then dry bracken.
- Palate
- Slightly stubborn to open. Solid but in time a zesty note and a contrast with coriander spices and a vanilla-led sweetness.
- Finish
- Sadly this falls apart on the finish.
- Comment
- It was all going so well...

- Nose
- Smoked cheese, citronella. Damp earth and wet rock. I was reminded of the inside of a megalithic tomb. Leather and crepe suzette. A light cheesiness again.
- Palate
- Burnt twigs, fruit bonbons and tangy orange marmalade.
- Finish
- Earthy and drying.
- Comment
- A mis-nomer?
