- Nose
- Slightly unripe pear/melon, touch of green grass, balsa wood and grape
skin - even grappa. Slightly raw.
- Palate
- Sweet and better than the nose. Spicy with hay and light wheat chaff in the
centre. Just lacks expressiveness and integration.
- Finish
- Clean and short.
- Comment
- Like No2 this is delicate but while that shows good distillery character this
just seems not quite fully formed. Pleasant, but pleasant isn't enough
after two decades.

- Nose
- Grassy, light. Honeyed syrup. Poached pears. Touch of lemon balm.
- Palate
- Sweet mellow. Gently flows on the tongue. Silky texture. Lovely balance.
Star anis. Peaches in tin. Sherbety
- Finish
- Lively, fizzy. Soothing on fresh almonds and aniseed.
- Comment
- A whispering whisky which speaks up on the finish. Ideal for celebrating the
Indian summer.
