Nose
Almost as pale as 20. Light white rum. Still raw and grassy with a little smoke. Mealy but unformed.
Palate
Birch sap wine. There's a decent central sweetness and a likeable fizzy quality but too unripe and edgy for me and, once again, not enough interaction.
Finish
Simple.
Comment
Needs more assertive wood. Should really be further along at this age.

Nose
Peaty, smoky. Grassy. Dune herbs, bonfire. Soot. Lemonade. Not a lot behind the smoke screen.
Palate
Sweet and smoky. Bog myrtle, lemon drop. Mint and aniseed. Refreshing if not extremely aromatic.
Finish
Sweet and smoky.
Comment
A pleasant dram for refreshment but lacks substance for enjoyment.
