Nose
Clean and lightly sweet with a subtle spiciness cut with a whiff of silver polish and freshly cleaned linoleum.
Palate
Lifted and sweet with that familiar mix of green fruits, carnation and a vivacious acidity.
Finish
Long and peppery. Bracing.
Comment
Has good balance and decent complexity.

Nose
Shy, restrained. Herbalist shop. Lemon balm. Lemon thyme. Perfumy. Hint of pineapple. With water, vanilla syrup.
Palate
Sweet at first with a satin like feel. The alcohol is well mastered. Dries up and gets spicy. Ginger beer. With water, a fresh minty note.
Finish
Dry, minty.
Comment
That whisky seems to have matured in a tired cask. But it is worth giving it time to unwind. Finally quite pleasant.
