- Fat. Pork pie jelly then hazelnut and cold tea.
- Palate
- Another which is concentrated and sweet. Latte coffee, ripe fruits then a little grip from oak. Very glossy with a subtle hint of dried fruits.
- Finish
- Fig jam. Soft.
- Comment
- Maybe just a little too eager to please, but maybe I'm just too hard to please.

- Clean and fresh. Cooked mash, malted milk. Layers of sweet citrus, baked lemons.
- Palate
- That cooked mash note carries through but balanced with spices and those baked lemons.
- Finish
- Dries with spices and a little smoke.
- Comment
- Definitely a gentleman but no lightweight dram.
