- Phenolic. Wet soot, smoke and creosote. The kiln the day after. Opens on lighter notes as the smoke screen vanishes. Marshmallow.
- Palate
- Smooth, round, velvety. Sweet maltiness. Smoked haddock. Develops on mint and liquorice. Lemon pulp with a touch of vanilla syrup.
- Finish
- Short but clean. Slightly sooty.
- Comment
- A fresh and balanced dram. Easy going, straightforward, cheerful. A perfect appetiser.

- Bonfires. Burning leaves and damp foliage. A balanced mix of smoke and stewed fruits, just a hint of sweetness.
- Palate
- Soft and gentle. An intriguing melange of smoked fish, lemon drops and fresh bread. Quite oily in feel too.

- Short with the smoke rising.
- Comment
- An easy drinking dram with reasonable complexity.
