Nose: Silver polish,earth, Nutella (hazelnut spread),apple wood. Slightly wheaty.
Palate: Sweet and smoky. Apple wood smoked cheese, recharring barrel. Fades quickly. Slightly woody.
Finish: Light,smoothing into hazelnut.
Comment: Good but lacks mid-palate weight.

Martine Nouet

Nose: Smoky with a touch of iodine. Wet sand. Bonfire by the sea. Fresh lemon juice. Hint of marshmallow.
Palate: Sweet and smoky. A bit weak at mid-palate. Smoke is invading. A vanilla touch.
Finish: Dry and smoky,slightly sooty.
Comment: A nice easy-going dram. A bit weak. The smoke screen covers all up. To be enjoyed chilled on a summer evening.
