- Nose
- Thick with masses of wood varnish, baked and dried fruits, toffee apple and nutmeg given some lift by lemon peel.
- Palate
- Wet flowers, thick. This one does need water which adds to the substance and gives a little tannic grip. Develops into butterscotch and red fruit coulis.
- Finish
- Honeyed and sweet.
- Comment
- Balanced and with good energy.

- Nose
- Sherry. Earthy. Wet leaves. Mushrooms. Some mustiness. Old leather saddle. A hint of sulphur. Slowly opens on sweeter notes. Coffee and toffee.
- Palate
- Sweet and smooth. More toffee. Nice spicy festoon.
- Finish
- Fresh with liquorice.
- Comment
- The palate is sweeter than the nose. A pleasant sherry character. Well
balanced. Oak is well mastered.
