- Nose
- Dryish. Vanilla-pods. Fragrant.
- Palate
- Lightly malty character. Some caramel-like flavours.
- Finish
- Faint suggestion of peat (or char?).
- Comment
- Pleasant enough, but a Breton whisky should surely offer some kind of regional difference?

- Nose
- Light fruits and floral notes. An intriguing mix of citric and savoury: orange bitters and boot polish. Water gives it a lovely spring-like lift: leafy, damp and a light buttery edge.
- Palate
- Sweet and medium-bodied, the flavours all concentrated on the middle of the tongue. Dries quite quickly with a hint of charcoal. Strangely attractive.
- Finish
- Smooth.
- Comment
- Approachable. I like it.
