- Nose
- Grainy. Flour-like. Pastry fresh out of the oven.
- Palate
- Sweet spiciness. Cinnamon. Savoury and sweet. Meaty. Pine nuts. Moroccan pastilla.
- Finish
- Piney. Balsamic. Peppery.
- Comment
- A lot happening. A very lively whisky.

- Nose
- Extremely peaty with cereal/dried grasses/brown bracken behind. Smoked fish/venison and tar. Becomes rubbery with water.
- Palate
- Good delivery with lots of smoke, then gymshoe soles. Young.
- Finish
- Smoke and oatcake.
- Comment
- For serious peat freaks only. Would have been better if kept in cask for a few more years.
