Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Dried fruits, little musty, tinned prune, damp earth, hint of meat stock. The lurking sweetness is brought out by water. Palate Quite concentrated, orange Spangles, nougat. A slight fizzy quality which leads into (pink) marshmallow. Shows finesse and good balance. Finish Long, clean hint of smoke. Comment Good weight of spirit, but needs more from the cask to make it great.

Arthur Motley Nose Tinned pears, parma ham, aniseed, lemon balm, grass and a little earthiness. Lime juice. Palate Lemon sorbet, biscuits and a sweet meatiness. Finish A light toffeeness. Comment Speyside style.
