- Nose
- Resin. Pine cone. Oak. Forest fragrances. Malt flour. Touch of rancid butter in the back. Raisin buns.
- Palate
- Very round. Sweet. Brown sugar. Red and black fruit. Raspberry. Blackcurrant.
- Finish
- Gentle, minty.
- Comment
- Oak is better expressed on the palate than on the nose. Will please sweet tooth. Very drinkable but lacks the distinction of the older expressions.

- Nose
- Fleshy and ripe (crème brûlée, plum, blackbberry tart) then aromatic note of cedar/cigar ash. Dry and sweet in balance.
- Palate
- Sweet hay with a firm structure. Deep and long with an unctuous feel. Stewed fruits, sherry, black cherry, treacle tart, dark chocolate.
- Finish
- Dry, clean.
- Comment
- Richer than many and well balanced.
