- Nose
- Clean maltiness with a touch of sandalwood, dry bracken, camphor alongside summer pudding and, weirdly, tinned tomato soup. A lot going on.
- Palate
- Sweet, fat and mouth filling. Lots of coffee, chocolate and roasted maltiness. A mid-palate blend with menthol notes, dried pear and coriander.
- Finish
- Slightly bitter. Nutshell.
- Comment
- Big-boned and full.
- Nose
- A very warm and firm nose, bags of malt and honey. There is a little mint
and a little spice too.
- Palate
- Firm and grippy with the malt making itself known. There is a silky grain element. Coffee grinds, runny honey and raisin bread.
- Finish
- Dark chocolate and grippy oak.
- Comment
- Always wondered why 13; but certainly is lucky for some.
