Tasting Notes

Arthur Motley

Nose
Yeast, graininess, lemon biscuits and gravel. Perhaps a squirt of cat pee.
Palate
Light in body, but sweet, hot and citric.
Finish
A mumbled murmour of peat.
Comment
Didn’t do enough. A badly named whisky if you ask me… I’ve met wilder Scotsmen at a Morningside tea party.

Owen Barstow

Nose
Flat dusty caramel, punctuated by acetic spirityness. After time develops some citric notes, especially lime. Youthful.
Palate
Creamy and minty up front, but lacks development.
Finish
Modest; faintly linctus-like taint right at the end.
Comment
Easily drinkable, but I fear it will be insufficiently challenging for the enthusiast.
