Tasting Notes

Arthur Motley Nose Hazelnuts, dark chocolate, tropical fruit. With water up came some aloe vera with peaches. Palate Peaches and sweet mint and lots of American oak. Finish Like sucking an apricot stone: fruity, woody and bitter of the year. Comment Good dram, lacked the greatness you'd hope for with such age.

Dave Broom Nose Intense. Amaretto, cherry stone, pine, light rye dustiness, bitter chocolate, spiced buns. Wood oil, into varnish, citrus zest and firmness. Palate Clean and precise with good grip. The chocolate reappears alongside some tobacco, then masses of spice, maraschino, caraway, rye. Finish Tinned cling peaches, oak. Comment A well-balanced slightly lighter style of Turkey, but another finer addition to the range.
