William Grant's

William Grant's 15 Years Old
Blended - Scotland - 43.00%
7 A dessert malt? Remarkably sweet and chocolatey until water is added.

William Grant's 15 Years Old
Blended - Scotland - 40.00%
8 Quite an assertive blend. The nose delivers to the palate but it tastes older than 15 years.

William Grant's 18 Years Old
Blended - Scotland - 40.00%
7 The nose lets us expect some exotic promises. Did too much dilution blow all that galore off? Disappointing.

William Grant's 18 Years Old, Deluxe Blend
Blended - Scotland - 40.00%
8 Leans toward peat-smoke, but beautifully composed. Luxurious. With a cigar?

William Grant's 25 Years Old
Blended - Scotland - 43.00%
8 A long maturation for a blend, but this has emerged with confidence, style and sophistication.

William Grant's Ale Cask Reserve
Blended - Scotland - 40.00%
7 Fresh and seductively drinkable. I'm astonished how well this innovation worked. The ale was brewed especially to add much more malty sweetness than hop.

William Grant's The Family Reserve
Blended - Scotland - 40.00%
7 I have always felt this blend to lack dimension but, as it warmed in the glass, more flavours emerged, especially heathery-peaty elements. Also a more honeyed, malty fullness.
