- Nose
- Tropical fruit. Paw-paw? Lemon grass.
- Palate
- Lightly nectar-like. Soft and soothing. A very unusual texture. Creamy when water is added. Peachy. Slightly syrupy. Malty. Clean and smooth.
- Finish
- Sweet orange peel. A suggestion of steamed pudding. Sticky toffee? Slightly smoky.
- Comment
- Fresh and seductively drinkable. I'm astonished how well this innovation worked. The ale was brewed especially to add much more malty sweetness than hop.

- Nose
- Scented aromas: cereal, apple, banana, mixed fruit jam and a hint of the beer cellar/warehouse.
- Palate
- Soft and creamy with silky texture. Light smoke.
- Finish
- Slightly dull and flat.
- Comment
- Good fun and well-made but will this just open another can of worms? Lager finish anyone?
