Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Oak. Slight char. Beeswax. More flowery (peach blossom) and leafy when water is added. Palate Surprisingly fresh. Mint toffee. Sweet tobacco. Finish Dusty spices. Cinnamon. Ginger. Quite sweet. Comment A long maturation for a blend, but this has emerged with confidence, style and sophistication.

Dave Broom Nose The impression is of great age. Big, mature truffley aromas: lilies tobacco, honeycomb/wax, black walnut, rancio, oak. Complex and dense. Palate Very soft and heavy. Honey, beeswax, beech woods, russet apple. In time a lighter nuttier side emerges. Chewy and weighty. Finish Dry and lightly perfumed. Heather. Comment Bosky, ancient.
