Nose
Sweet. Nutmeg, oak, high citrus, almond, plum, yew sap.Great with a drop of water.
Palate
Floral and scented. Rosewater, plum jam and honey.Scented, dare I say feminine (probably not).Light tannin. Very good flow.
Finish
Long and honeyed.
Comment
The gentler side of American whiskey. Well worth a look.

Nose
Intense. Demerara sweetness. Maple syrup. Pecan pie. Floral (narcissus).Old polished oak floor. Opens on toffee.
Palate
Not as smooth as expected. The spicy burst invasion gives no mercy to the sweet notes found on the nose.Oak is obviously at the wheel.
Finish
Dry and spicy but soothes down on caramel notes.
Comment
A fierce bourbon. A (too) long maturation has hardened the palate. Too bad as the nose promised roundness.
