- Nose
- Sweet. Nutmeg,oak,high citrus, almond,plum,yew sap.Great with a drop of water.
- Palate
- Floral and scented. Rosewater, plum jam and honey.Scented, dare I say feminine (probably not).Light tannin. Very good flow.
- Finish
- Long and honeyed.
- Comment
- The gentler side of American whiskey. Well worth a look.

- Nose
- Intense. Demerara sweetness. Maple syrup. Pecan pie. Floral (narcissus).Old polished oak floor. Opens on toffee.
- Palate
- Not as smooth as expected. The spicy burst invasion gives no mercy to the sweet notes found on the nose.Oak is obviously at the wheel.
- Finish
- Dry and spicy but soothes down on caramel notes.
- Comment
- A fierce bourbon. A (too) long maturation has hardened the palate. Too bad as the nose promised roundness.
