67- Nose
- Sweet, lots of caramel that obliterates all other aromas. Just a hint of mint coming through.
- Palate
- Sweet at first then shifts on to the oaky side. A hint of liquorice and a bitter astringency.
- Finish
- Short, bitter.
- Comment
- All that caramel dress up seems to hide an immature spirit. Has it been aged in decent wood? One can wonder.

82- Nose
- Planed oak fir, pine but this also has apple, barley-sugar. Honeycomb on toast.
- Palate
- Sweet, but also nutty. Marzipan, an estery lift alongside that distinctly Canadian silky feel. Good length.
- Finish
- Long mingling sweet and spicy.
- Comment
- It's almost like a pudding whisky, but has balance.
