- Nose
- Refresher sweeties, turpentine and eucalyptus. Rye in evidence.
- Palate
- Parma violets, vanilla and sawdust.
- Finish
- An intense progression of pine, sap and wood. A good chewin' whiskey.
- Comment
- Remarkably drinkable at full strength, which is just as well as I didn't enjoy it as much once diluted. Impressive: but you must like 'em woody.

- Nose
- Great intensity of aroma. A huge, old, but gentle bourbon. Cinnamon bark, cedar, high char, heavy perfumed rose, sweet vermouth, spice. It's a ready-made Manhattan!
- Palate
- Benylin, cherry menthol then allspice. Great length. Water brings out grippy oak.
- Finish
- Long, slightly grippy.
- Comment
- A phenomenal whiskey. Stephen Camisa we salute you.
