Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Fruity and toffeeish. Polished oak. Palate Lighter-bodied than the full colour might suggest, but firm and textured. Finish Hint of char. Firm and clinging. Comment A Bourbon of some presence and elegance. With dessert, or after dinner?

Jim Murray Nose Toast and marmalade with coffee. Palate Dry and spicy start. The oak is pierced by a decent corn richness that hangs on the oily middle. Finish Remains vanilla-rich and oaky. Comment A busy, beautifully constituted bourbon that gracefully defies the years.
