Nose
Odd. Bread and butter pudding, soft fudge. Behind a dry grassiness teetering into off notes. Becomes cloying with water. Cold caramel pudding. Palate
Oxidised wine, blackberry and in time a buttermilk sourness. Clumsy. Finish
Claggy. Comment
Very poor. Still, after this and the Buffalo Trace experiments we can say that bourbon and Chardonnay don’t mix. So, let’s move on.
Dominic Roskrow
Nose
Lightweight, grassy, over-ripe fluffy apple. Palate
Winey, young fruit, more wet grass than bluegrass. Finish
Over-polite for a bourbon. Comment
An oddball. Like an over-thin model:neither very attractive and not much in the way of body.
