Intense. Strong wood influence. Sandalwood, cigar box. Floral. Bulb flowers (like Hyacinths). Fruit comes behind. Dried out prune, dawson plum. Long peppercorns. Complex.
Palate
Elegant, rich. Sweet dried fruit then the oak fills in. But beautifully integrated. Toffee, pepper.
Finish
Long, refined. Sweet. Dates
Comment
A brilliant example of an old bourbon. Wood influenced but in the most refined way.

Nose
Big humidor and tobacco notes. Sawn oak sweetness with dark fruit and toffee. Intense and layered.
Palate
Heavy burnt sugar, almost a little smokiness. Christmas cake but also a lot of oak.
Finish
Just keeps going.
