- Nose
- Intense. Strong wood influence. Sandalwood, cigar box. Floral. Bulb flowers (like Hyacinths). Fruit comes behind. Dried out prune, dawson plum. Long peppercorns. Complex.
- Palate
- Elegant, rich. Sweet dried fruit then the oak fills in. But beautifully integrated. Toffee, pepper.
- Finish
- Long, refined. Sweet. Dates
- Comment
- A brilliant example of an old bourbon. Wood influenced but in the most refined way.

- Big humidor and tobacco notes. Sawn oak sweetness with dark fruit and toffee. Intense and layered.
- Palate
- Heavy burnt sugar, almost a little smokiness. Christmas cake but also a lot of oak.
- Finish
- Just keeps going.
- Comment
- Mr Morris has hit the nail on the head with this one.
