- Nose
- Leather, oak and sandalwood with fragrant lift of dried rose petal, orange blossom with a fat corn note. Generous and quite oily.
- Palate
- Immediate rose attack, alongside orange blossom water. Very sweet and direct. However all a little front-loaded as it seems to fade a little to the finish leaving little more than the oak.
- Finish
- Tight and slightly oaked.
- Comment
- This would make a great cocktail whisky and that's not being dismissive!

- Nose
- Varnish, fresh paint,a touch of turpentine. We are definitely not in a distillery! Far behind,a fruity note. Nuts and pistachio. Dry apricot. The paint scent fades away very slowly. Walnut stain. With water,a pastry note.
- Palate
- Sweet at start then bitter. Odd taste. Wood and again this varnish note.
- Finish
- Short,quite sharp. Bitter. With water,cloves.
- Comment
- Strange sensation of going from a building site to the dentist's! I would
not say I enjoyed it.
