- Oily, perfumy. Cypress? Sweet leaves. A hint of peat. A touch of oak.

- Big flavours, and a lot happening, but could be rounder.

- A slightly battered array of oaky notes limps alongside the strained malt.

- Superficial smoky malt notes but out of sorts.

- The nose is outstanding, but not a patch on Hibiki 21.
