Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Like walking into an expensive sweet shop. The sweets are all in boxes, perhaps even gift-wrapped, but the aromas of fudge, chocolate, mint and Parma violets linger in the air. Palate Honeyed. Cinder toffee. Shortbread. Finish Balancing flowery dryness. Comment A lovely, elegant, delicately malty Yamazaki.

Dave Broom Nose Round and creamy with underlying sweetness. Apricot, mango, cooked apple; runny honey, malt and a forested note: moss, sandalwood. Palate Gentle and lightly chewy: yellow wine gums, vanilla sugar. Balanced between dry oak and sweet spirit. Gets spicier towards the finish. Finish Nutty. Comment Excellent balance and intriguing complexity.
