Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Sandalwood. Cedar. Oak tannins. Some phenols. Cough sweets. Morello cherries. Passion fruit.
Palate
Sour cherry pie. Blackcurrants. Coconut.
Finish
Huge. Peppery.
Comment
A huge whisky but overwhelmingly fruity and alcoholic.

Dave Broom

Nose
Dense, almost burnt. Rum truffle, chocolate, prune.
Palate
Thick. Robust, smoky, black treacle toffee. The wood and the sherry dominating.
Finish
Bitter chocolate.
Comment
Way too much sherry for me. It's too strong without water but splits when you add some.
