Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Dryish, fresh oak. Ferns, forest flowers. Palate Firm, toffee, coconut. Finish Dry, spicy. Vanilla pod. Hint of char. Comment Lots happening, lively, enjoyable.

Dave Broom Nose Peaty (smoked fish) but with some perfume (lemon, pot pourri, dried heather) and softness (nut oil). Palate Rounded and sweet. Very sweet in fact: like cinnamon toast with demerara sugar, but there's smoke as well, and it's in balance. Finish Medicinal. Smoked fish again. Comment A fascinating package with unlikely flavour combinations. Barmen will love this.
