Nose
Chocolate brownies, chicory coffee and figs. Fragrant and fruity beneath. Copes with water well which shows that behind the assertive oak there's a rich fruity depth.
Palate
Thick start before a little smoke and,as the tannins start their work, tomato puree, nuts and treacle toffee. Reminiscent of a brandy de Jerez.
Finish
Charcoal.
Comment
For the big sherried lovers.

Nose
Fresh coffee and cooked oranges mingle with striking wood notes. Hints of dark chocolate and fig rolls.
Palate
Dense at first. Everything is packed together. Smoke gathers revealing that sweet parkin cake edge.
Finish
Sooty and earthy.
Comment
A classic example of how to use a sherry cask.
