- Nose
- Less intense and more covered. Soft and fruit-packed with less overt incense aromas, and light coconut before it deeps into boot polish. While there's lower incense, there's more resin.
- Palate
- Controlled.Spangles/boiled sweet then a leathery note. Lots of ginger. Again pretty dry though with mouthwatering acidity. There's more obvious structure.
- Finish
- All spiciness and dry leaves.
- Comment
- It's as if all the tastes have been turned up to max.
- Nose
- More subtle with the incense aromas wrapped with soft fruits, almost like apricot jam. There is a little coconut shell lurking too with that violin
bow resin.
- Palate
- This has a really big hard sweet note, like those travel sweets that come in tins. Candied orange and dried fruits, root ginger.
- Finish
- Warming and spicy.
- Comment
- One for the winter's evenings, big on the warming notes.
