Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Treacly. Icing sugar. American cream soda. Palate Good malt background. Vanilla. Liquorice. Slight coal/tar smokiness. Finish Soothing rather than aggressive. Comment A big whisky, with some of the smokiness I remember.

Dave Broom Nose Rich, malty, sweet: nutty toffee, caramelised apple, vanilla, butterscotch. With water, light spice and smoke, balsa wood and a sappy youthfulness. Good weight with slightly hard spirit. Decent balance. Finish Dry, fresh. Comment It just might benefit from a little more time in the cask.
