Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 9 Delicious example of maltiness in a whisky. I always enjoy Glengoynes very much, but they invariably leave me wanting a little more.

Single Malt - Scotland - 48.70% 8 Complex, old, not perfect, but good darned fun!

Glengoyne 37 Years Old, Sherry Butt
Single Malt - Scotland - 47.60% 8 Sweet, filling, rich and satisfying. An impressive afterdinner drop.

Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 7 A lovely, complex, sophisticated malt.

Glengoyne 21 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 7 If this were a Lowland malt, it would be a star. As a Highlander, it gets lost.

Glengoyne Scottish Oak Finish
Single Malt - Scotland - 53.50% 7 A rather eccentric version of Glengoyne. Very distinctive. A digestive after Thai food or even a curry?

Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 7 Quite a complex character for its age. The palate is well-structured, just a little too woodframed.

Glengoyne 1972
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 7 Amazingly fresh for such an oldie. Much prefer this style of Glengoyne to the sherried monsters which tend to drown the distillery character.

Glengoyne 19 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 55.80% 7 A nice fresh feel. But alcohol is not tamed. Water cools it down but takes the zesty kick away.

Glengoyne 12 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 57.20% 7 Lacks elegance and complexity. Oak dominates, with a bitter grip. Water does not help.

Glengoyne Burnfoot
- Scotland - 40.00% 7 Just a little thin and lacking in substance

Glengoyne Glenguin Shiraz Cask Finish
- Scotland - 48.00% 6 More of a fruit squash than a whisky, but use it as a delicious,ready-mixed summer drink.
