Single Malt - Scotland - 44.70% 9 A fruity little number, which is well balanced with enough earthy tones to play well with the flighty fruits. Yum!
Machrie Morr Cask Strength
Single Malt - Scotland - 58.40% 7 Neat, a real sinus clearing malt! Diluted, the oak grips a little too much.

Single Malt - Scotland - 55.80% 8 My only quibble is that it's a bit dry on the finish. Best with a drop of water.

Single Malt - Scotland - 45.80% 8 ?Potent, yet inviting, this has plenty going on to keep the keenest of palates entertained with it.
HIghland Park Freya
Single Malt - Scotland - 51.20% 8 A classic Bourbon cask maturation. Refreshing and satisfying. A good springtime malt to enjoy with smoked salmon.
Highland Park Dark Origins
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.80% 7 The sherry masks more subtle flavours so it feels a little one-dimensional.
Ancient Mariner Tobermory 1996 Cask Number 349
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.10% 7 Not exactly my favoured style of whisky but it has fruit and sweetness to balance the ‘spirit' character.
Jura Turas Mara
Single Malt - Scotland - 42.00% 4 ? A well knitted fruity whisky. The perfect companion of a scrumptious Tarte Tatin. Water enhanced some bitter oak. Better neat.
