- Scotland - 46.00% 8 Judging by the colour (pale chardonnay),has obviously not gained from the cask. Has got all the phenolic spectrum but not much more,especially on the nose.

Single Malt - Scotland - 57.00% 7 Intense and in character. A fairly simple Caol Ila but a goody.

Blackadder Arran 1996 Raw Cask
Single Malt - Scotland - 56.80% 7 Slightly gin-like. I have preferred bottlings that had more contribution from the wood. A touch of vanilla would round out the flavours.
