Buffalo Trace to open whiskey experience in London

The new experience in London's Covent Garden area will give visitors the chance to taste through Buffalo Trace Distillery's core and premium whiskey ranges

21 September 2023

Bourbon giant Buffalo Trace is to open an American whiskey experience in London.

The Buffalo Trace Distillery London, which will be located in Covent Garden, is set to open in late 2023 and will offer visitors the chance to get closer to Buffalo Trace and its whiskeys in what the company says is a first-of-its-kind tasting experience.

There will be two tasting experiences on offer: Taste of the Trace, which will feature a guided tasting of three expressions from the distillery's core range; and Tradition and Change, in which guests will explore a selection of Buffalo Trace's premium expressions.

Andrew Duncan, global brand director at Buffalo Trace Distillery, said: “For over 200 years, our distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making the finest American whiskey. In the heart of Bourbon Country in Frankfort, Kentucky, Buffalo Trace Distillery has built a generation of enthusiasts, one at a time, by showcasing the timeless craft of whiskey making alongside a sharp focus on experimentation and innovation.

“Our London location will bring that genuine, authentic experience to a new generation of global fans, allowing them to discover all that American whiskey and the award-winning brands of Buffalo Trace Distillery have to offer.

“Whether you’re an existing fan of American whiskey, or if the category is entirely new to you, we’re confident Buffalo Trace Distillery London will offer an experience and a pour that will delight every palate.”
