This week, we're marking the Fourth of July with three cocktail recipes from small-batch bourbon makers Bib & Tucker.
These recipes have been designed to pair with barbecue food — making them perfectly suited to a holiday party or just to shake or stir up for an evening by the grill or in the garden.

Winning Hand
Bib & Tucker suggests pairing this cocktail with "savoury grilled appetisers".
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Bib & Tucker The Classic Six Bourbon
0.5 part Campari
0.5 part dry vermouth
1 barspoon walnut liqueur
Expressed orange peel, to garnish
Method:
Stir all ingredients together in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an expressed orange peel.

Steam Engine
To pair with this, Bib & Tucker recommends brisket, ribs, or other grilled meat.
Ingredients:
2 parts Bib & Tucker Double Char Bourbon
0.5 part Bénédictine
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Expressed orange peel, to garnish
Method:
Stir all ingredients together in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an expressed orange peel.

Manhattan Skyscraper
This one pairs with a grilled dessert — Bib & Tucker suggests apple crisp, grilled peaches, or skillet brownies.
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Bib & Tucker The Classic Six Bourbon
1 part sweet vermouth
0.5 part Amaro Montenegro
2 dashes chocolate bitters
Expressed orange peel and a square of chocolate, to garnish
Method:
Add all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with no ice. Add ice and shake again. Fine Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Express and garnish with orange peel and a chocolate square placed on the rim.
