Whisky Magazine has teamed up with Teeling Whiskey to offer one lucky reader the chance to win £500 worth of Teeling Whiskey, together with a memorable experience at the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin.
Teeling Whiskey Co was established in Dublin in 2015 by Jack and Stephen Teeling, the sons of Cooley Distillery founder John Teeling. The distillery brought whisky making back to the thriving Liberties area of Dublin for the first time in more than a century.
It produces a range of single malt, grain, and pot still whiskeys and runs an award-winning visitor experience, sharing the history of the Irish whiskey industry and the Teeling brand. In 2019, the Teeling 24 Years Old —part of the distillery's Vintage Reserve Collection — was named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.
Releases from Teeling have included its Rising Reserve collection, a series of 21-year-old single malt whiskeys that celebrate Teeling's innovative spirit. This week, the distillery has unveils a collaboration with Venezuelan rum producer Santa Teresa 1786, with a rum-cask-aged small-batch whiskey that the distillery says has notes of honey, dark chocolate, apricot, figs, and spices.
The competition
One Whisky Magazine reader will win £500 to spend on Teeling Whiskeys of their choice.
The winner and a guest will also join Teeling master distiller Alex Chasko for a private tour and tasting at the Dublin distillery, offering a unique opportunity to discover more about Teeling Whiskey and the craft behind it.
