Despite his years of experience he never loses his enthusiasm when bringing his favourite whiskey to another yet another customer or a new audience. Tasked with travelling around the globe, John works closely with the bartender community, brand managers, sales teams and consumers, spreading the message that Tullamore D.E.W. is the original triple blend Irish whiskey. That is golden grain whiskey, malt whiskey and pot still whiskey are expertly blended providing a balance of flavour like no other in the category.
John not only understands the fundamentals of the three key stages of whiskey making but he can communicate it to his audience in a way that is understandable to all, regardless of the level of knowledge of his audience. He describes the art of creating a triple blend, the science of triple distillation and the craft behind triple cask maturation with great ease. John also imparts his mastery to our enthusiastic team of local Tullamore D.E.W. brand ambassadors in key markets such as America, UK, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Scandinavia and Ireland.
In the past seven years he has been instrumental in bringing 45 highly qualified young talented people into the Irish whiskey industry. He has been able to inspire in them a love and respect for Tully such that they proudly spread the gospel in markets across the world ensuring that TD continues to grow at double-digit rates globally.
