A new Scotch online retailer has launched, and it aims to simplify the process of shopping for whiskies.
Malt of the Month (MOTM) offers one malt each month, stripping back the "overwhelming experience" of choosing between cask types, styles, brands, and more. The curated selection each month is framed as an opportunity to discover new, exciting whiskies for both whisky newbies and seasoned malt fans.
Each 'malt of the month' is selected by the retailer's team of whisky experts, including a Keeper of the Quaich and a Wine and Spirits Education Trust Diploma graduate.
Antonia Macfarlane, development manager of MOTM and DipWSET, commented: “Maltofthemonth.co.uk is thrilled to announce its launch, bringing a fresh and simplified approach to Scotch whisky lovers everywhere.”

The first malt of the month is the retailer's December selection: a Tamdhu 12 Years Old matured in sherry oak casks. As well as the bottling, customers who purchase a monthly malt will receive a free gift; with the 12-year-old Tamdhu, a Tamdhu sampling glass will be included.
As well as the monthly whisky selection, MOTM offers spirits available to purchase year-round.
