The Plan For An Unprecedented Feat Of Grain Whisky Maturation
Featuring exclusive interviews with key figures behind the release, the film explores the pioneering spirit of the Gordon family and its long tradition of laying down exceptional casks for future generations. At its heart is a singular whisky: a 60-year-old single grain from Girvan Distillery — drawn from a small parcel of casks filled in 1964, the first full year of production at the site under industry legend Charles Gordon.
But this remarkable whisky’s story doesn’t end there. Only 25 decanters of this extraordinary dram have been bottled for release. The remaining spirit has been re-casked into a custom-coopered European oak hogshead, specially designed to carry the spirit forward for future releases planned at 70, 80, 90 and finally 100 years of age.

A Family Heirloom, A Collector’s Dream
One For The Next is more than a rare whisky — it’s an invitation to a small number of connoisseurs to join a journey that will unfold over the next forty years. Each decade, 25 more bottles will be released exclusively to the owners of the original One For The Next 60 Years Old bottling, forging a lasting connection between their families and the Gordons of Hazelwood House.
Come 2065, the 25 families in possession of One For The Next's five proposed bottlings of this 1964 vintage Girvan single grain will own a collection unlike any other in existence in the world of whisky — or, hopefully, one final, 100-year-old dram to enjoy while looking back on an unparalleled 40-year journey.

Presented In A Unique ‘Time Locked’ Cabinet
The decanter of One For The Next Girvan 60 Years Old will be presented in a unique elm cabinet crafted by cabinetmaker Paul Hodgkiss, using wood sourced from the grounds of Hazelwood House. Fitted with a time-lock mechanism, the cabinet will reveal a place for each subsequent bottling in the series every 10 years.
The Chance To Start Your Own Whisky Legacy
One For The Next offers collectors a chance to begin their own whisky legacy — an experience to be enjoyed today but also passed down to subsequent generations of their family, not cashed in or ‘flipped’.
Only 25 decanters of the 60-Year-Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky have been released worldwide. Each bottle is priced at £10,000 and available exclusively through House of Hazelwood and WG&S Distillers Libraries.
