Scottish whisky bottler and blender Brave New Spirits has announced the launch of its first new whisky series for 2024: Whiskyheroes.
The Glasgow-based company, which is building the new Witchburn Distillery in Campbeltown, said the new series will focus on single cask or small batch releases.
The first Whiskyheroes release comprises eight whiskies (seven single malts and one single grain) that have been matured or finished in sherry casks or bourbon barrels. Distilleries including Linkwood, Blair Athol, and Annandale are featured in the line-up.
As with Brave New Spirits' other independently bottled whisky ranges, including Whisky of Voodoo and Cask Noir, the Whiskyheroes releases will have bespoke illustrated labels. Designed in-house, each expression's label will feature a title and character that reflects its distillery of origin.
In UK retail, the Whiskyheroes bottlings are expected to be priced from £50 per bottle. The launch of the range is being supported with tasting events and seminars in the UK, Europe, and Asia. More information about the Whiskyheroes range can be found at bravenewspirits.com.
