Independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company has expanded its core range with three new world whiskies. The brand, which is owned by Atom Group, established its core range in 2024, with four Scotch whiskies and a Canadian corn whisky.
Joining the core range now are an 8-year-old English rye whisky, a 10-year-old Kentucky bourbon, and a 21-year-old Irish whiskey. Each has a label designed by illustrator Emily Chappell.
The English Rye 8 Years Old (45.8% ABV, RRP £44.95) was distilled from a high mash bill and aged in toasted French oak casks. English single malt matured in ex-Islay casks was also incorporated, which the brand says adds complexity. Tasting notes from the company highlight blacked pepper, cinnamon, and caramel.
For the 10-year-old bourbon (45.8% ABV, RRP £59.95) , the brand has bottled a "classic" Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled from a 77 per cent corn mash bill and aged in deeply charred American oak, for notes of vanilla, dark toffee, spice, and leather.
Rounding out the new additions is the 21-year-old Irish whiskey (45.8% ABV, RRP £99.95), which was matured in ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, which the brand says results in flavours of honeyed malt, dried fruit, and baking spices.
Dave Worthington, global brand ambassador for That Boutique-y Whisky Company, commented: "We’re not here to complicate whisky, we’re here to celebrate what makes it great. Whisky fans are more curious than ever, and there’s a real buzz around world whisky right now — people want to explore new flavours and new territories. These new core expressions represent the best of the best: whiskies that are bold, distinctive, and seriously delicious. They’re the kind of drams we think deserve a permanent place on the shelf.
"Our English Rye is bold and spice-forward with a touch of peat, reflecting the rapid evolution of the English whisky category since we first bottled one in 2016, when mature stock was scarce. The bourbon brings depth and richness, with classic Kentucky character — a fitting addition, given it was the first non-Scotch we ever released. And the 21-Year-Old Irish is a testament to the category’s remarkable resurgence — from just two distilleries in the late 1970s to over 50 today. A revival worth celebrating."
That Boutique-y Whisky Company said its mission is "to make exceptional, characterful whisky more accessible to all'. Worthington elaborated: "As always, we’re proud to offer whiskies that overdeliver on flavour, without overstretching your wallet. We believe whisky is for everyone, and everyone should have the chance to try something genuinely exceptional."
