The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. has launched the 2023 edition of its limited release The Devil's Keep.
Launched in 2020, The Devil's Keep was Craft Irish Whiskey Co.'s first release and has previously won Best Irish Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.
The Devil's Keep 2023 has been aged in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, French oak tawny port casks, three sizes of American oak Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and charred new Hungarian oak casks. Only 333 bottles will be made available worldwide.
Each bottle is presented in a bespoke cask secured with a brass lock and comes with a set of obsidian whisky stones, an atomiser containing a whisky scent created by perfumer Sarah McCartney, and a jar of malted barley from the malting house that originally supplied the grain for the whisky.
Jay Bradley, founder and CEO of the Craft Irish Whiskey Co., said: "I’m extremely excited to finally be in a position to launch The Devil's Keep 2023 – its predecessor was our inaugural release and enjoyed record-breaking success that I look forward to building on with this release. It’s been a long process to get this whisky to where it needed to be, but with the passion, craftsmanship, and the dedication to excellence my team and I bring to producing our whiskies, we got there."
