This summer, WanderLush Travels heads to Scotland for a monumental touring experience. Visiting the world’s largest producer of whisky, the tour will explore the capital city of Edinburgh, the Isle of Skye, the picturesque Scottish Highlands, and Speyside, a whisky lover’s paradise.

The 2026 Spirits of Scotland Tour highlights include an exclusive tasting at a leading whisky bar, a personalised food and whisky excursion at the home of a celebrated chef, and visits to Talisker Distillery, Speyside Cooperage, GlenAllachie Distillery, and more.

Previous tours have included adult participants of all ages, and while a special experience for whiskey enthusiasts, many past travellers knew little of the spirit prior to the trip. The food and cultural excursions make for an incredible adventure for all. New points on the itinerary include a breathtaking day on a private lighthouse island and a bespoke tour of Edinburgh’s secret vaults. Golf add-ons are also available, offering a fantastic opportunity to play in this historical golfing country.

WanderLush Travels was founded by Ken Boll, owner of the award-winning Cask & Ale whisky lounge in Madison, Wisconsin, alongside his wife Jessica, a college professor and certified travel advisor who has led groups in dozens of countries across the continents.

The Cask & Ale whisky lounge offers more than 950 whiskies, evidence of Ken’s knowledge and passion of the spirit and his vital whiskey connections. Jessica’s extraordinary expertise lies in tourism, having designed itineraries and led university programs focused on intercultural relationships, and work for one of the United States’ leading travel agencies focused on luxury travel.

The tour begins in Edinburgh on 25 July 2026 and ends in Inverness on 1 August 2026. The total cost of the tour is $5,995 per person. This includes seven nights’ accommodation, 14 meals (including multi-course menu and paired tastings), private mini coach transport, and all entry fees and tickets for events on the finalised itinerary.

To ensure the experience feels as intimate and personal as possible, and to enhance relationships formed on the tour, the number of participants is strictly limited. Each trip includes carefully selected lodging, from luxury hotels to cosy bed and breakfasts, with food from distinctive restaurants and local favourites. Included in the tour this summer is dinner at Speyside’s oldest pub, an outdoor island lunch with a sea view, and a foraging and cooking adventure in the Cairngorms mountains.

Past participants of WanderLush tours have described them as “magical,” “unforgettable,” and “an adventure of a lifetime.” For those seeking to explore Scotland in an unforgettably luxurious way, while avoiding conventional tourist traps, this tour is an exceptional opportunity. It promises to deliver for both the biggest of whiskey enthusiasts and novices who may discover a new passion.
