Presented as MaltLive Dubai for the region, the festival will take place on 17 February 2024 at the iconic Meydan Hotel's Sky Bubble. The event promises an exciting celebration of the world of whisky, catering to both enthusiasts and newcomers.
For visitors and participants, there are two ticket categories on offer:
Silver Band (AED 299 / £65): The general-entry ticket which includes free tastings throughout the day, paid entry to the VIP lounge, and the option to purchase food from a number of vendors offering global cuisines.
Gold Band (AED 699 / £150): The VIP category ticket which includes free tastings, entry to all event areas including the VIP lounge, and all-day priority access to a range of masterclasses and an international buffet at the exclusive VIP food court.
A pre-event gala dinner is scheduled for 16 February, which will be attended by senior representatives from various global spirits brands, whisky bloggers, social media influencers, journalists, and celebrities.
Malt Society Arabia (MSA) is a membership-based organisation founded by whisky enthusiasts Puneet Sud, Sujeet Mitra, and Ganesh Iyer as a means to share their unwavering fascination for single malt whisky. The organisation creates unique experiences for its community members including whisky events and tastings, virtual and in-person sessions with industry experts, distillery visits, and limited-edition members-only bottlings.
The MSA partnership with Whisky Live will be spearheaded by Sujeet Mitra, supported by his co-founders and the core leadership team at MSA.
“MaltLive 2024 is testament to Dubai’s stubborn desire to be there first, all the time, every time,” stated Puneet Sud. Sujeet Mitra added that he believes the “event will doubtlessly prove to be a game changer for the local industry”.
