Category winners have been revealed in the World Whiskies Awards Rest of World (RoW) 2025. From big-name distillers to smaller, independent producers, the competition aims to spotlight the prestige and diversity of the global whisky market.
The Icons of Whisky Rest of World winners this year include Jamie Johnson for Brand Ambassador — Scotch Whisky of the Year, Zuidam Distillers for Distiller of the Year, and Myken Destilleri for Craft Producer of the Year.
Winners of the World Whiskies Awards RoW will go on to compete against other winners from France and Scotland, which have already been announced, as well as those from US and Ireland, which will be revealed later in February 2025. All country winners then have the chance to become the World’s Best in their category, the results of which will be announced at the global dinner in March 2025. In the World Whiskies Awards 2024, it was the English Distillery who took the coveted prize of World's Best Single Malt Whisky.
