Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: A bold nose that is unabashed with a spirit focus and some elements of wood. There is a sweetness that hides the spicy rye notes, which are hard to find.

Palate: The spirit is the first note to hit, which hides any noticeable notes of base ingredient or indeed oak influence, which eventually appears.

Finish: More spirit with some hints of rye spice and cherry sherbet. Very sweet and not really spicy at all.

Comment: Feels experimental.

Score: 7.3

Taster

Nose: Very feinty and raw with hints of wet cardboardy cereal and coffee. Harsh and herbal with no supporting oak or balancing sweetness.

Palate: Very herbal and marc-like. Youthful and cardboardy with little oak or sweetness.

Finish: Intense, raw and herbal.

Comment: You can’t hurry maturation.
