Nose

A real acetone-y pear drop note dominates here. Banana-flavoured fudge, crème pâtissière and pastry vie for attention in the background. Adding water brings out a mandarin core.

Palate

Lovely balance, this is taut yet full-flavoured. All the aromas play out on the palate which turns rather spicy and peppery.

Finish

The initial exuberance settles down into a warming embrace, accompanied by banana custard.
